Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Ordering dinner should not depend on how well you see a screen or how steadily you use a mouse. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across this site, and we treat anything that falls short of that as a fault to fix rather than a limitation to explain.
What we have built in
- Every part of ordering — browsing the menu, choosing options, the basket and the checkout — can be done with a keyboard alone.
- Buttons and form fields carry names a screen reader can announce, and the checks for that run automatically every time the site changes.
- Text contrast is measured against the WCAG AA thresholds for each colour scheme the restaurant can choose, so a change of theme cannot quietly make the site harder to read.
- Pages work at phone width without side-scrolling, and text can be enlarged in the browser without the layout breaking.
- Prices, waiting times and error messages are written out in words rather than left to colour or an icon alone.
- The site is available in English and Spanish.
Where we know it is imperfect
- Dish photographs are decorative and are marked as such. The dish name and description carry the information, so nothing is lost if images are switched off.
- The card payment step is provided by our payment processor and rendered by them. We have no control over its markup, though we chose a provider that publishes its own accessibility commitment.
- Menu photographs and any uploaded documents are supplied by the restaurant, and their quality varies.
If the site gets in your way
Tell us, and we will fix it. Describe the page and what you were trying to do — that is usually enough for us to reproduce it.

And if this site will not do what you need today, call us and we will take your order over the phone. That option is not a workaround we are embarrassed about — it is how most of our orders have always been placed.
Keeping at it
Accessibility is not a box that gets ticked once. The automated checks run on every change to the site, and we review the ordering flow by hand, including with a screen reader, when it changes in any significant way.
